A Universidade de Yale oferece mais de 80 cursos gratuitos e online para pessoas de qualquer lugar do mundo. Todas as capacitações são liberadas pela plataforma Open Yale.

Os cursos abordam várias áreas de conhecimento, como economia, história, psicologia, química, filosofia, estudos religiosos, sociologia, direito e literatura. As capacitações apresentam palestras disponibilizadas em vídeo, além de leituras sugeridas, exames e questões.
